Depending on the frequency and intensity, we have two main categories: <em>Low-Frequency, High-Power Ultrasound<\/em> which ranges between 20 and 100 kHz and is used to induce changes in materials or processes; and <em>High-Frequency, Low-Power Ultrasound<\/em> which is a gentler version of ultrasound (above 100 kHz) that is mainly used for noninvasive analyses and quality control.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Our team has been engaged in ultrasound technology research for many years, focusing mainly on developing processes for the chemical and food industry.
